Tom spotlights the new Upland Sterling, an over/under that represents a step forward in CZ’s shotgun technology. The Sterling has a CNC-milled action and monoblock, an upgrade we liked so much it’s being incorporated across the over/under 12 gauge lineup over the course of this year.
We pride ourselves on the fact that our shotguns are made by hand by highly skilled craftsmen. The new action and monoblock are milled from a forged casting by computer, lending a new level of precision to our guns. This reduces the amount of individual fitting required during creation of each shotgun, in turn leading to more interchangeability of parts and smoother operation.
