They are already available for LE agency purchase. Currently they are only available in Select fire.

ETA on when a 7.62 x 51 version will be available for the civilian market?

      • Andrew Eager

Not anytime soon. It will most likely follow the path of the current Bren 2 which was available only in select fire for about a year and a half before it was available in a semi-auto platform.

Very nice. Will it eventually have a similar M-LOK fore-end like the one on the BREN 2 MS?

Also… what are the chances of any of these BREN 2s coming to Canada?

It is all M-LOK with the exception of the 12 and 6 o’clock rails, which are picatiny. As far as Canadian sales, you would have to contact the factory as they handle distribution up north of the border.

It was only released this January in select fire to law enforcement only. I wouldn’t expect to see information on the semi-automatic version until 2020/2021
